Becky Johnson: Becky Johnson, often known by her radio handle Mrs. Bluegrass, has produced bluegrass and more diverse radio shows on WMMT, WCOM, and currently, WHUP-FM 104.7, Hillsborough, NC. Active in the bluegrass community for more than 40 years, her now sought after photo book, Inside Bluegrass, appeared in 1998. She served for many years as an official photographer for MerleFest and IBMA’s World of Bluegrass. The Raleigh City Museum presented an exhibit of her bluegrass images during the World of Bluegrass. Today she focuses on her distinctive visual art using various tools and media on a variety of surfaces, while doing gardening on the side. Her work is regularly on display at Alamance Arts in Graham, NC.
